Job summary

TREW is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician in Lyndhurst, NJ. You will execute reactive and scheduled maintenance on material handling equipment, ensuring safety and reliability. A strong focus on customer experience, documentation, and timely issue resolution is essential.

The role requires hands-on electrical/mechanical maintenance, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a dynamic warehouse environment with potential overtime and hybrid work arrangements.

Qualifications

• High attention to detail and well organized.
• Effective in use of software programs such as MS Office, CMMS, etc.
• Able to complete work in a timely, accurate and thorough manner.
• Strong verbal and written communication with leadership and colleagues.
• Professional demeanor and ability to maintain good relationships.
• Ability to prioritize to meet customer expectations.
• Knowledge of parts inventory location and use.

Responsibilities

• Follow all company safety plans.
• Provide superior Customer Experience.
• Support Material Handling Equipment (MHE) operations.
• Perform mechanical preventive and corrective maintenance on MHE.
• Perform electrical preventive and corrective maintenance on MHE.
• Create, update and complete work orders.
• Advise supervisor about potential hazards.
• Test and maintain electrical equipment with hand and power tools.
• Diagnose malfunctioning systems and repair as needed.
