Job summary

Trew is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support Lyndhurst, NJ operations, performing reactive and scheduled maintenance on Material Handling Equipment and following safety plans. You will deliver excellent customer service as a Trew representative and handle work orders with a hands-on, can-do attitude.

Ideal candidates will have hands-on electrical equipment maintenance experience, basic tool proficiency, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Experience testing and maintaining electrical equipment using hand and power tools.
• Experience diagnosing malfunctioning systems to locate problems and make repairs.
• Experience inspecting electrical systems and their connections to identify hazards.
• The work environment includes exposure to manufacturing machinery and potentially noisy conditions.
• Must be available for emergency calls and overtime.
• Day shift is noted in the ad; flexible scheduling may be required.

Responsibilities

• Follow all company safety plans.
• Provide superior customer experience.
• Support operation of Material Handling Equipment (MHE).
• Perform mechanical, electrical corrective and preventive maintenance on MHE.
• Create, update, and complete work orders.
• Identify hazards and advise supervisor.
• Test electrical equipment with tools and inspect connections.
