Job summary

TREW in Lyndhurst, NJ is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform reactive and scheduled maintenance on material handling equipment, ensuring safety and reliability. Friday-Sunday 4:30 am - 5:30 pm shift is available.

You will represent TREW with a hands-on, can-do attitude and deliver excellent customer service. The role requires strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, experience with hand and power tools, and the ability to complete work orders while coordinating with supervision.

Qualifications

• Experience testing and maintaining electrical equipment using hand and power tools.
• Experience diagnosing malfunctioning systems to locate problems and repairs.
• Experience inspecting electrical systems and connections to identify hazards.

Responsibilities

• Mechanical Corrective - and Preventive Maintenance of MHE
• Electrical Corrective - and Preventive Maintenance of MHE
• Creation, updating and completion of work orders
• Advise supervisor to potential hazards (safety and operational)
• Test and maintain electrical equipment using hand and power tools
• Diagnose malfunctioning systems and its components, to locate problem and make necessary repairs
• Inspect electrical systems and their connections to identify hazards
