Job summary
Rexel USA, Inc. is seeking an Automation Specialist specializing in PLC, HMI, and software to join our Solon, OH team.
The role focuses on growth of sales and providing pre-sales and post-sales technical support for automation products and services. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience in automation and strong knowledge of PLC/ HMI software, with the ability to develop sales strategies, train customers, and support internal teams.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of equivalent experience.
- Electrical distribution industry or related experience required.
- Valid Driver's License.
- High School or GED - Required.
- 4 Year / Bachelor's Degree - Preferred.
Responsibilities
- Meet or exceed sales goals of assigned technology offer.
- Develop sales strategies and plans for growth.
- Prepare periodic sales funnel and weekly reports.
- Provide technical support via on-site, phone, and email.
- Establish relationships with sales and customers to understand potential.
- Move projects through the sales cycle to conclusion.
- Prepare quotations, proposals, and estimates of prices.
