SMC Corporation is seeking an Application Specialist to deliver technical expertise, support, and guidance to clients implementing industrial automation solutions. You will work with clients and internal teams to design, configure, and optimize automation systems, train users, and support projects from start to finish.

The role requires strong knowledge of automation products, CRM proficiency, and a proactive approach to identifying revenue opportunities.

Formación

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
• Advanced industrial automation product and application experience with SMC or equivalent industry.
• Experience with or knowledge of competitive product and applications.
• Extensive SMC Application knowledge or equivalent industry.

Responsabilidades

• Participate in monthly conference call and provide application success stories, share and distribute details to branch team.
• Focus on identifying and closing major revenue producing projects.
• Be involved with key accounts and their projects directly, including understanding buying influences and technical requirements for SMC products.
• Identify specifications and regulatory needs at the customer level and relay to SMC engineers or product specialists.
• Provide continuous training to sales employees, customers and distributors on products and applications.
• Deliver training sessions and workshops to clients' engineering and operations teams on using and maintaining automation systems.
• Document and monitor sales activity in SMC's SalesConnect system and CRM entries.
• Assist sales employees in detailed technical presentations and events.
• Collaborate with clients to understand manufacturing processes and automation objectives.
• Work with clients and internal engineering teams to design, configure, and customize automation solutions.
• Stay abreast of competitive outlook and industry trends; suggest improvements and new solutions.
• Provide feedback to product development for future enhancements.
