PrideNow is seeking a Software Engineer/Automation Engineer in Byhalia, MS to support installation and commissioning of industrial projects worldwide. You will partner with vendors, manage digital systems, and optimize safety and efficiency across factory operations.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's in software engineering and 2–5 years in manufacturing automation, with Siemens S7, WinCC, and Siemens 57 programming experience. The role offers growth, scope for leadership, and strong benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer or software engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• 2-5 years of experience as a Software Engineer, preferably in a continuous flow manufacturing environment.
• Proven expertise in PLC programming (Siemens S7) and SCADA Systems (WinCC).
• Hands-on experience with Siemens 57 programming and industrial Ethernet networks.
• Strong knowledge of safety systems and functional safety principles.
• Proficiency with servo drives and frequency inverters (Lenze/Siemens/ADD/Danfoss).
• Familiarity with Siemens Scalance network devices, Pilz safety PLCs and Multi PNOZ systems.
• Experience with automation systems, robotics, and conveyors.
• Understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles and process optimization.
• Strong leadership and communication skills and a growth mindset.

Responsabilités

• The position is scheduled for Monday-Friday, house based on needs of the factory.
• Ensure all employees operate in full compliance with health, safety, and security requirements.
• Serve as the primary contact for DIGITAL systems and related communications.
• Manage and maintain critical systems including access control, video surveillance, and servers.
• Ensure machinery and equipment operate safely, efficiently, and reliably.
• Drive process and equipment optimization with focus on uptime and waste reduction.
• Conduct performance analyses with relevant departments to identify issues.
• Report technical problems to Maintenance and coordinate training.
• Collaborate with Maintenance to ensure timely repairs.
• Support development and optimization of software, processes, tools, and training materials.
• Record and report equipment defects and coordinate cross-departmental tasks.
• Participate in development of new routines, tools and best practices.
• Inspire colleagues to contribute to continuous improvement, and assist in training.
• Manage area of responsibility per company policies and safety guidelines.
