Job summary

ROCKWOOL is seeking an experienced Software Engineer for our Byhalia, MS location. You will develop and maintain software for industrial automation, PLC/SCADA integration, and process control in a manufacturing environment.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's in Computer/Software Engineering or equivalent, with 2–5 years' experience, and hands-on PLC (Siemens S7) and WinCC expertise; strong safety and Lean manufacturing knowledge preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer or Software Engineering or equivalent.
• 2–5 years as Software Engineer in manufacturing environment.
• Experience with PLC/SCADA and industrial networks.
• Strong safety, Lean manufacturing, and process control knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain software for industrial automation and control systems.
• Oversee PLC/SCADA configurations and communications.
• Ensure safety compliance and reliable operation of machines.
• Collaborate with Maintenance and Production to optimize uptime.
• Support training and development of operators and engineers.
