Job summary
Pride Global is seeking an Industrial Automation / Controls Software Engineer to support installation, commissioning, maintenance, and optimization of industrial automation systems in a manufacturing environment. This role focuses on PLC programming, SCADA systems, industrial networks, and automated manufacturing equipment.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field
- 2–5 years of experience in software engineering, industrial automation, or controls engineering
- Strong hands-on experience with Siemens S7 PLC programming and WinCC SCADA systems
- Experience with industrial Ethernet networks and industrial communication systems
- Knowledge of machine safety systems and functional safety principles
- Experience with servo drives and frequency inverters (Lenze, Siemens, ABB, Danfoss)
- Familiarity with Siemens SCALANCE network devices, Pilz safety PLCs, and PNOZ safety systems
- Experience supporting automated machinery, robotics, conveyors, and sequential process controls
- Understanding of manufacturing processes, troubleshooting, and Lean Manufacturing principles
- Strong communication, collaboration, problem-solving, and leadership skills
- Commitment to continuous learning and operational excellence
Responsibilities
- Support installation, commissioning, maintenance, and optimization of automation systems and equipment
- Program, troubleshoot, and maintain PLCs, SCADA systems, and associated control software
- Manage and maintain digital infrastructure including access control, video surveillance, mobile networks, PLC software, and SCADA applications
- Ensure machinery operates safely, efficiently, and reliably while meeting production requirements
- Monitor equipment performance, analyze data, and identify opportunities to improve uptime and reduce waste
- Troubleshoot issues related to automation, robotics, conveyors, process controls, and industrial networks
- Collaborate with Maintenance and Production to coordinate repairs and minimize downtime
- Support health, safety, security, and functional safety compliance
- Identify equipment defects and ensure proper follow-up and resolution
- Develop and improve software, procedures, tools, and training materials
- Train operators and maintenance personnel on operation and troubleshooting
- Coordinate cross-functional activities and contribute to continuous improvement
- Promote best practices, efficiency, engagement, and ongoing development
