Job summary

Hadrian is building autonomous factories in the United States, developing software to control and monitor industrial machines on the factory floor. You will work with robotics, mechanical, and controls engineers to bring advanced production systems from concept to operation and help scale Hadrian into a multi‑factory company across the country.

The role emphasizes software that senses, decides, and acts, including core robotics stacks, factory orchestration, and hardware abstraction layers.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years software engineering experience.
• Proficient in Python, TypeScript, or C#.
• Willing to work with hardware on the factory floor.
• Ability to make decisions with incomplete information.
• Willingness to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Develop software to interface with industrial machines, PLCs, and other manufacturing equipment.
• Create human-machine interfaces that enable technicians to control and monitor automation on industrial machines.
• Ensure seamless software integration of automated manufacturing systems into Hadrian factories.
• Build data logging pipelines for connected devices that feed operational planning and factory scheduling.
• Collaborate with robotics, engineering, and operations teams to conceptualize, deploy, and upgrade manufacturing cells.
