Proteus Industries Inc. is a leading liquid flow meter manufacturer serving semiconductor equipment, automotive, and other industrial customers.

This role focuses on WeldSaver product line for automotive robotic welding, delivering technical support, configurations, and problem solving for global customers. The engineer will troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, automation, and networking issues, train customers, and capture requirements to drive product development and sales opportunities.

Qualificações

• Engineering degree or equivalent training in hardware/firmware/networking.
• Customer-facing experience in technical support, applications engineering, or technical sales.
• Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, PLCs, industrial automation, OEM sensors, and industrial networking.
• Experience with industrial communication protocols including EtherNet/IP, PROFINET, EtherCAT, IO-Link, Modbus, and related protocols.
• Familiarity with Rockwell/Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or similar automation platforms.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, presentation, and customer-training skills.

Responsabilidades

• Product selection, configuration, application, and troubleshooting.
• Technical customer support and training.
• Diagnosing electrical, mechanical, automation, networking, and application-related issues.
• Supporting new product development and sales opportunities by capturing customer requirements.
• Working cross-departments with Customer Service, Engineering, Production, Purchasing, and QA to support our customers.
• Supporting product-related RMA investigations.
• Developing technical presentations, application notes, training materials, and other customer-support documentation.
