Innovative IDM, a leading industrial automation distributor, seeks a Sales Engineer to drive growth by integrating PLCs, HMIs, servo systems, and VFD solutions with customers. You will cultivate strong relationships, identify opportunities, and deliver technical presentations to showcase tailored automation solutions.

Ideal candidates have a technical background, 3+ years in technical sales, and proficiency with CRM and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering or related field.
• Three or more years of sales or business development experience in technical industry.
• Strong technical knowledge of industrial automation systems and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Find, develop and maintain relationships with customers.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive sales growth.
• Provide technical expertise and support to customers.
• Weekly phone work to setup face-to-face appointments.
• Collaborate with internal teams to develop solutions that meet customer needs.
• Prepare and deliver technical presentations to customers.
• Joint sales calls with vendor reps.
• Negotiate contracts and pricing with customers.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions.
