Job summary

Dürr is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead service and modification projects across our automation and manufacturing equipment portfolio. You will own end-to-end project execution, coordinating schedules, resources, and customer communications to deliver on-time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, a technical discipline, business, or project management preferred.
• Experience leading service, retrofit, modification, or upgrade projects.
• Ability to develop schedules, resources, budgets, and deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Own service and modification projects from sales handoff through project closeout.
• Develop and manage project schedules, milestones, manpower plans, and resource requirements.
• Serve as the primary customer contact throughout project execution.
• Review customer requests for modifications, retrofits, upgrades, and additional work; develop scopes and coordinate quotations for changes outside the original project scope.
• Track project budgets, forecast costs, and manage financial performance against established targets.
• Coordinate engineering, purchasing, suppliers, field service, installation, and other resources required for successful execution.
• Manage project changes, risks, priorities, and customer expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
• Plan and support work performed during customer shutdowns and compressed installation windows.
• Travel to manufacturing sites for project kickoffs, installation activities, commissioning support, and project closeout.
• Maintain clear project documentation and communicate status, risks, schedule changes, and required actions to customers and internal stakeholders.
