Job summary

AG Solutions is seeking an experienced Automation Engineer with a strong background in industrial automation, PLC programming, electrical controls, instrumentation, communications, and control system design. This position requires someone who can handle both the engineering/design side and hands-on programming and troubleshooting side of industrial automation systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level engineering degree required or higher.
• Extensive hands-on experience with industrial automation systems.
• Strong experience with Allen-Bradley/Rockwell and Schneider Electric platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement automation solutions using PLCs, HMIs, instrumentation and networks.
• Program and troubleshoot PLC/HMI systems across engineering and field environments.
• Travel to customer facilities up to 40% as needed.
• Provide after-hours and on-call support for automation systems.
• Prepare and modify electrical/control drawings and documentation.

Education

Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical field
