Job summary

Flow Control Group’s Mechatronic Solutions division is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to expand our customer base in Eastern Wisconsin. You will identify opportunities, cultivate relationships, and provide deep automation knowledge—from robotics to machine vision—to win new business.

Ideal candidates bring strong communication skills, a consultative selling approach, and a willingness to travel 1–2 hours from Milwaukee.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Engineering, Automation Technology, or related technical field; bachelor’s preferred.
• Experience in industrial automation, technical sales, or applications engineering.
• Knowledge of robotics, motion control, pneumatics, machine vision, machine safety, industrial controls, and electromechanical systems.
• Ability to build customer relationships and manage accounts; strong communication and presentation skills; highly organized and self-motivated.
• Willingness to travel throughout the territory (1–2 hour drive of Milwaukee).

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with existing and prospective customers in Eastern Wisconsin.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities to achieve territory sales objectives.
• Understand customer operations and goals; provide technical product recommendations.
• Deliver technical presentations, proposals, and product demonstrations.
• Collaborate with Application Engineers and automation specialists to develop solutions and support projects.
• Travel regularly to support customers and attend events.
