Job summary
FM is seeking an Automation, OT & Digital Systems Engineer to support operation, development, and reliability of industrial control systems across the Research Campus. You’ll lead projects with limited supervision and collaborate with researchers, engineers, supervisors, and technicians to ensure daily site operations and digital capabilities.
The role involves designing OT infrastructure, IT/OT integration, and developing OT/ICS solutions, including data streams and digital twins.
Qualifications
- Experience with industrial control systems (3+ years; 5–10+ preferred).
- Ladder Logic, Function Block Diagram, Python, and Structured Text knowledge.
- Experience with Allen-Bradley ControlLogix, Studio 5000, FactoryTalk View; industrial networks such as EtherNet/IP, Modbus, ControlNet.
- OSIsoft PI data, SCADA, ignition, PID tuning, and safety interlocks across platforms.
- Proficient in AutoCAD and LabVIEW; strong MS Office skills.
Responsibilities
- Support ICS operations, maintenance, and development at the Research Campus.
- Program PLCs, HMI/SCADA, alarms, and PI data; work with Ignition and PID tuning.
- Act as first level escalation support for control system technicians.
