Job summary

Accelera is seeking an Industrial Automation Maintenance Specialist to ensure peak performance of our manufacturing fleet, including CNC machining centers and robotic welding cells. You will minimize downtime by troubleshooting and performing technical repairs to maintain high OEE.

The role involves preventive and corrective maintenance, equipment rebuilds, and guiding junior technicians while supporting plant productivity and safety programs.

Qualifications

Industrial Automation Maintenance Specialist

About the Role

As an Industrial Automation Maintenance Specialist, you will ensure the peak performance of our advanced manufacturing fleet, including CNC machining centers and robotic welding cells. You will play a critical role in minimizing downtime through proactive troubleshooting and technical repairs, directly impacting our facility's overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).

Responsibilities

• Execute comprehensive preventive and corrective maintenance on CNC HMC units, robotic welding systems, and automated assembly lines.
• Diagnose and resolve complex mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic failures to restore production capacity rapidly.
• Lead equipment rebuild projects and document all maintenance activities to maintain high operational standards.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying process bottlenecks and implementing technical upgrades.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize machine reliability and support plant-wide productivity goals.
• Mentor junior technicians and provide technical guidance on machine operations and safety protocols.

Required Skills

• High School Diploma or equivalent with a strong background in industrial maintenance.
• Proven expertise in troubleshooting CNC mills, welding robotics, and complex hydraulic systems.
• Solid understanding of electrical circuits, PLC logic, and sensor integration.
• Comprehensive knowledge of industrial safety regulations and compliance standards.
