Job summary

Serviform America is seeking a motivated Field Service Technician to install, service, and optimize automated machinery for customers across North America. You will troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and automation issues, perform preventative maintenance, and support customers from pre-installation through training and handover.

Travel is extensive, typically three weeks per month, with opportunities to grow skills on diverse equipment and collaborate with our Italy-based partners.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of field service or related technical field experience.
• Ability to read and interpret technical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Experience with motors, sensors, industrial controls, pneumatics or CNC equipment is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently in the field.
• Excellent communication and a commitment to customer satisfaction.
• Willingness to travel extensively, typically three weeks per month.
• Valid driver’s license and passport.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, maintain, and troubleshoot industrial machinery at customer facilities.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and automation-related issues and implement lasting solutions.
• Perform preventative maintenance, equipment adjustments, repairs, and upgrades.
• Support pre-installation planning and customer readiness.
• Train customers on machine operation and proper maintenance.
• Provide responsive technical support on-site and remotely.
• Coordinate with internal service team and Italian partners to resolve challenges.
• Document service work and coordinate parts and travel with operations.
• Build strong customer relationships through professional, dependable service.
