Flex is seeking an experienced Industrial Engineer to drive productivity across manufacturing processes and labor utilization. You will simulate workflows, plan for NPI, and collaborate with engineering and sales to optimize costs and throughput.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) and about 6 years in industrial engineering within high-tech electronics, with emphasis on automation and board-level repair. Excellent communication is essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience.
Minimum 6 years of industrial engineering experience in high tech electronics.
Experience with manufacturing automation and board-level repair.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsabilités

Provides process time estimation to the quote team.
Simulates process, materials and workflow using REFA/MOST/WITNESS tools.
Coordinates process planning for NPI, considering takt, cycle time and direct labor.
Reviews prototyping results and provides feedback to NPI and sales.
Analyzes work force utilization, facility layout, and production data to improve efficiency.
Recommends methods to improve labor efficiency and reduce waste of materials and utilities.
Collaborates with management and engineering to implement plans and recommendations.
Develops management control systems for cost analysis and production planning.
Designs or improves systems for material distribution and plant location efficiency.
Leads LEAN, Automation, and 6Sigma initiatives to increase throughput and reduce cost.
