Job summary

BIC World in Milford, CT is seeking an Electrical Engineer to provide electrical support for plant control systems, research and implement new technologies, and design and program industrial control systems used on high-speed automation equipment.

The role includes troubleshooting electrical systems, supporting maintenance programs, and collaborating with controls technicians to interface with PLCs, DCS, instrumentation, robotics, servos, and related automation technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 3+ years of electrical engineering experience within industrial electrical controls related to high-speed equipment in a production or manufacturing environment.
• In-depth programming experience with PLCs, vision systems, robotics, servos, C# programming, and Ethernet networks.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot low- and medium-voltage electrical systems, MCCs, VFDs, and industrial machinery during breakdowns or outages.
• Support preventive and predictive maintenance, RCA on equipment failures, and corrective actions.
