Job summary

BIC World seeks an Electrical Engineer to support plant control systems, troubleshoot high- and medium-voltage equipment, and design automation for high-speed lines.

You will work with controls technicians to interface electrical systems with PLCs, DCS, instrumentation, and robotics, and lead commissioning of new equipment.

This hands-on role requires strong problem-solving, safety-conscious work on the production floor, and delivering reliable, efficient plant performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 3+ years of electrical engineering experience within industrial electrical controls.
• In-depth programming experience with PLCs, vision systems, robotics, servos, C# programming, and Ethernet networks.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot low-, medium-voltage electrical systems, MCCs, VFDs, and machinery during breakdowns.
• Support preventive and predictive maintenance; conduct RCA and implement corrective actions.
• Interface electrical systems with PLCs, DCS, instrumentation, vision systems, robotics, servos, and related tech.
• Lead or assist with electrical scopes of work, installations, upgrades, and commissioning.
• Manage project delivery including BOMs, drawings, ATPs, manuals, submittals, and cost analysis.
