Job summary

BiOrigin Specialty Products is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Electrician for our East Hartford, CT facility. You will focus on controls and electrical systems (E&I), troubleshooting and repairing machines to keep the paper mill running smoothly.

The role requires hands-on maintenance, reading schematics, calibrating drives, and performing preventive maintenance with a focus on safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• Experienced maintenance electrician with knowledge of electrical theory and control systems.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and ladder logic.
• Familiarity with motor control circuits, VFDs, PLCs, and electrical meters.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, and repair industrial electrical and control systems across the mill.
• Maintain and repair motors, drives, PLCs, sensors, and related equipment.
• Perform PMs, calibrations, alignments, and safety checks to minimize downtime.
