Gehl-Food- is hiring a Controls, Automation & Electrical Technician for 1st shift to troubleshoot and maintain PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, and robotic systems in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in industrial automation, controls, or electrical systems.
• PLC programming/troubleshooting (Allen-Bradley preferred).
• Experience with instrumentation, schematics, and motion control.
• Strong safety focus and teamwork mindset.
• Bonus: Experience with Beckhoff, Fanuc, or vision systems.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and maintain PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, and robotic systems.
• Diagnose and repair electrical wiring, sensors, and instrumentation.
• Support automation upgrades, commissioning, and continuous improvement.
• Ensure documentation accuracy and compliance with safety and FDA standards.
