Job summary

Torrey Holistics is seeking an experienced Instrumentation & Electrical Controls Engineer to support reliability, troubleshooting, maintenance, and continuous improvement of automated production and bottling equipment. The role requires hands-on experience with Allen-Bradley PLCs, Rockwell control systems, SCADA, VFDs, servo drives, and process controls.

You will work with maintenance, engineering, and operations to diagnose problems, reduce downtime, and optimize performance.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field, or equivalent technical work experience.
At least two years of industrial instrumentation, electrical maintenance, controls, or automation experience.
At least two years of experience with Rockwell Automation or Allen‑Bradley control systems.
Strong hands‑on experience troubleshooting Allen‑Bradley PLCs.
Experience with SCADA, DCS, HMI, or industrial control systems.
Ability to read electrical schematics, P&IDs, instrumentation drawings, loop diagrams, and PLC logic.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and interpret Allen‑Bradley PLC code within Rockwell Automation environment.
Diagnose, repair, test, calibrate, and adjust instrumentation and control equipment.
Support instrumentation and process control instrumentation such as temperature, pressure, and flow sensors.
Troubleshoot bottling and packaging equipment including conveyors, fillers, labelers, and coders.
Optimize SCADA, DCS, and HMI interfaces and operator screens.
Perform preventive maintenance and root cause analysis for downtime events.
