Job summary

U.S. Tsubaki in Holyoke, MA, seeks an assembler to operate and monitor roller chain production lines. You will manage stringing and pressing equipment, ensuring quality while actively replacing worn parts and aiding training of new operators.

The role requires the ability to read engineering drawings, handle heavy fixtures, and follow strict quality procedures. This is a full-time on-site position with hourly pay.

Qualifications

• Must have completed an approved training program for setting up and operating all equipment in the section.
• Ability to measure and inspect assembled products; basic mathematics essential.
• Capable of handling heavy fixtures and parts.
• Able to identify parts from engineering drawings used to produce chain products.
• Self-motivated and able to follow procedures for quality and operation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and run assembly processes to high efficiency and quality per standards.
• Operate stringing processes, power presses, pre-stressing and related equipment.
• Retrieve and replace components to ensure continuous operation of equipment.
• Assist, train and develop new operators.
