Job summary

Qualifications

• Trade school qualification in manufacturing / engineering related discipline desirable.
• Requires sufficient knowledge of press operation and set‑up.
• Must be able to read, interpret and follow instructions on engineering drawings.
• Prior Set‑up experience on automatic, mechanical and hydraulic press equipment required.
• Must be self‑motivated to ensure that allocated work load is completed in a timely, efficient manner.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate presses to assemble chain and related parts.
• Operate automatic and semi-automatic chain assembly equipment and presses.
• Measure quality parameters of assembled chain and determine corrective actions.
• Retrieve and replace components to ensure continuous operation.
• Assist, train and develop operators.
