Qualifications

• Requires completion of an approved training program for setting up and operating power presses.
• Knowledge of blanking, fabrication and power presses, and tooling to maintain tolerances.
• Must be self-motivated to own the work schedule and quality; capable of following directions.
• Willing to support continuous improvement and adaptation in a fast–flexible–efficient section.
• Ability to work with others in a team and to meet internal/external customer needs.
• Good judgment to perform tasks under timely constraints.
• Must be able to handle heavy weight.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate a wide range of primary and secondary presses for blanking, piercing, bending, re-hole, and related operations.
• Ensure equipment is maintained and runs at high efficiency and quality per US Tsubaki standards.
• Measure quality parameters of chain components and determine corrective actions.
• Retrieve raw material and transfer finished components to subsequent processes to maintain continuous operation.
• Assist, train and develop operators.
