As an Intermediate Assembler, you will work on a team to assemble industrial equipment from start to finish, following safety standards and work instructions. Hands-on work with hand and power tools required; overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with mechanical and electrical assembly concepts.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Demonstrated continuous improvement mindset.
• Experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, and torque tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical assembly using hand and power tools.
• Follow work instructions to meet quality standards.
• Conduct in-process quality checks and communicate results.
• Troubleshoot and make adjustments to ensure product quality.
• Identify and report safety concerns.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace using 5S principles.
• Rotate through multiple assembly stations, including main line roles.
• Float to different lines within the value stream after training.
• Identify common assembly bottlenecks (mechanical, electrical, plumbing).

Job Details

• Position: Assembler
• Location: Golden Valley, MN
• Schedule: Monday-Thursday | 1st shift: 5:00 AM - 3:00 PM | 2nd shift: 3:00 PM - 1:00 AM (Mandatory overtime may be required)
• Pay: $17.88 - $26.97 per hour (based on experience) + $1.30 Shift Differential for 2nd shift
• Type: Temp to Hire

What You'll Do

What We're Looking For

Education & Experience:

• Familiarity with mechanical and electrical assembly concepts
• Manufacturing experience preferred

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for an 8-hour shift
• Routinely lift up to 25 lbs; occasionally up to 40 lbs
• Work in multiple positions throughout the shift
