OTC Industrial Technologies is seeking an Applications Engineer to bridge engineering design and customer requirements. You will provide technical support, assist with proposals, collaborate with vendors and engineers, and manage quotes and orders in OTC systems.

The role emphasizes reading blueprints, understanding rotating equipment, and supporting customer-facing activities with a focus on timely project execution and cross-functional teamwork.

Qualifications

• Requires bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field; strong analytical skills.
• Experience reading blueprints and design drawings; familiarity with rotating equipment helpful.
• Experience with EPC contractors or industrial equipment sales is a plus.
• Customer-facing technical role experience is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide technical support for inside and outside sales activities.
• Assist with proposals and customer engagement to drive solutions.
• Collaborate with vendors and engineers on optimal solutions.
• Review design requests and select appropriate products using internal tools.
• Create quotes and enter orders into OTC systems accurately.
• Monitor project timelines and customer communications; mentor junior staff.
• Occasional travel for customer visits, vendor meetings, or oversight.
