Taurus Industrial Group in Freeport, TX is seeking an Analyzer Technician to install, calibrate, maintain and repair analytical instruments across industrial and laboratory settings. You will work with engineering and operations teams to keep data accurate and processes efficient.

The role requires a high school diploma (associates preferred) and hands-on experience with analytical instruments, calibration procedures, and electrical systems.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in instrumentation, electronics, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience with analytical instruments, including calibration and maintenance.
• Basic understanding of electrical and electronic systems relevant to analyzer technology.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and calibration procedures.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Responsabilidades

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on a variety of analytical instruments and systems to ensure consistent and accurate operation.
• Calibrate analyzers according to manufacturer specifications and industry standards to maintain measurement precision.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot analyzer malfunctions using technical manuals, diagnostic tools, and software.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support process optimization and resolve instrumentation issues promptly.
• Document maintenance activities, calibration results, and repairs accurately to comply with regulatory and company requirements.
• Install new analyzer equipment and integrate it into existing systems, ensuring proper configuration and functionality.
• Provide technical support and training to operators and other personnel on analyzer operation and best practices.
