Sora Resource Group in the Greater Madison area is seeking a skilled Ammonia Refrigeration Technician for the 2nd shift to maintain and troubleshoot large-scale NH3 systems in a food manufacturing setting. This on-site role emphasizes safety, reliability, and proactive preventive maintenance.

You will collaborate with electrical teams, follow PSM guidelines, and benefit from a strong overtime structure, competitive hourly pay, and company-paid RETA training opportunities.

Qualifications

• 2+ years hands-on ammonia refrigeration experience in a manufacturing or processing facility.
• 2+ years troubleshooting industrial electrical circuits and power distribution safely.
• Willingness to work a permanent 2nd shift (Mon-Fri) and on-site role.
• Stable work history with strong attendance and reliability.
• Residence within a ~45-minute drive of the Greater Madison, WI area.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and rapid fault-tracing on high-capacity NH3 systems.
• Inspect and repair plant electrical networks, MCCs, and control panels.
• Enforce PSM, RMP, and OSHA safety protocols with safety leadership.
• Support plant operations to ensure uninterrupted 2nd shift production.
• Maintain digital logs and documentation in the CMMS system.
