Job summary

Maker’s Pride, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to operate and maintain industrial ammonia refrigeration systems and related equipment in a manufacturing setting. The role includes maintaining boilers, air compressors, HVAC/refrigeration gear, and driving proactive repairs to minimize downtime.

The candidate should have a 2-year trades degree or 4 years of plant maintenance experience, plus a high school diploma. Ability to read/write/speak English is required; bilingual a plus.

Qualifications

• 2-year trades degree or 4 years plant maintenance experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 18 years of age and able to read/write/speak English; bilingual a plus.
• Able to communicate with supervisors and line workers; attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and maintain industrial ammonia refrigeration systems.
• Maintain boilers, air compressors, and air handlers.
• Service HVAC and refrigeration equipment for safe, efficient operations.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and refrigeration issues to minimize downtime.
• Follow IIAR, OSHA, and plant safety procedures.
• Report work to supervisor; work with little supervision.
