Job summary

PSI Pax, Inc. is seeking a Robotics Engineer to develop AI-enabled automation for manufacturing in the North American region. You will integrate AI, computer vision, and sensor fusion into production systems, while collaborating with robotics and plant teams to scale deployments.

The role emphasizes hands-on engineering, simulation-driven validation, and a focus on safety, reliability, and manufacturability across projects. A strong background in robotics and AI is essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Robotics or related technical field (or equivalent experience).
• Experience deploying manufacturing automation deployments.
• Experience in robotics, AI/ML, or advanced automation development.
• Strong full-stack mindset and collaboration in team settings.

Responsibilities

• Integrate and deploy AI-enabled robotic solutions to improve manufacturing capability, flexibility, and performance.
• Develop and implement computer vision, machine learning, and sensor fusion for real-world manufacturing applications.
• Build and optimize AI models for robust performance on industrial hardware, balancing latency, reliability, and compute constraints.
• Bridge the gap between AI Python scripts and standard industrial automation.
• Utilize simulation tools to support concept validation, synthetic data generation, and Sim2Real deployment.
• Lead and support equipment trials, debugging, and performance validation from proof-of-concept through production deployment.
• Collaborate with robotics, controls, and plant manufacturing teams to integrate AI into production systems.
• Identify and implement emerging Physical AI technologies through benchmarking and supplier engagement.
• Ensure solutions meet safety, reliability, and manufacturability requirements and align with standards.
• Present technical concepts and results to stakeholders and leadership.
• Manage contractors to design and build testing cells.
• Produce clear documentation to support scaling and customer enablement.
