Job summary

Nexus Intelligence is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to own AI Agent strategy and implementation for large manufacturers. You will manage the customer portfolio across multiple sites, lead technical conversations in plant rooms, and deliver scalable agent workflows that drive revenue and efficiency.

Based in San Francisco with regular travel to customer sites, you’ll turn field learnings into reusable agents and connectors, applying insights across industries to expand impact.

Qualifications

• Strong software engineering fundamentals with modern AI tooling.
• Fluency in AI/ML stacks and practical experience with LLMs.
• Ability to manage multiple clients and plant sites with autonomy.

Responsibilities

• Own customer relationships and portfolio; lead AI Agent strategy across sites.
• Design and ship large-scale agent workflows for root cause analysis, scheduling, and optimization.
• Move deployments fast across customers, with regular travel to sites.
• Turn field learnings into reusable agents and connectors across deployments.
