Industrial Sales Representative Base 80-100K plus commission Salt Lake City, Utah Direct Hire

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and grow sales within the oil & gas, mining, and power generation industries
• Actively cold call and re-engage current and previous customers
• Build, maintain, and strengthen long-term client relationships
• Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate field service and machining solutions
• Prepare quotes and estimates for jobs sold; comfortable reviewing scopes, pricing, and timelines
• Coordinate with operations and field teams to ensure accurate job execution
• Represent our client professionally at customer sites, meetings, and industry events
• Track opportunities, customer activity, and sales progress

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of industrial sales experience in one or more of the following: Oil & Gas Mining Power Generation
• Proven ability to cold call and develop business through relationship building
• Experience selling industrial services, field services, machining, or maintenance solutions
• Comfortable quoting and estimating jobs—not just handing them off
• Strong communication, negotiation, and customer-facing skills
• Self-motivated, disciplined, and able to work independently in the field

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical understanding of industrial equipment, rotating equipment, or heavy machinery
• Existing industry contacts within oil, gas, mining, or power generation
• Experience working closely with operations or field service teams
