Job summary

Waterville Public Schools are seeking an Indoor Track Assistant Coach to support the track program and coaching staff. You will assist with training sessions, meet prep, and athlete development while promoting sportsmanship and safety.

Ideal candidates will have strong communication and leadership skills, with experience in track or coaching preferred. Duties include supervising athletes, coordinating equipment and uniforms, and upholding academic and conduct policies during practices and events.

• Assist head coach with training sessions and athlete development
• Maintain uniforms and equipment, and manage paperwork
• Supervise athletes during practices and games
• Review student-athlete handbook and policies on academics and conduct
• Support facilities security and equipment care
• Pursue coaching education and clinics to improve skills
