Job summary

Qualifications

• Two years varsity level playing experience or equivalent training.
• ASEP certification and coaching-certifications required.
• Strong reading, writing and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to interpret safety rules and operate with professional judgment.
• Experience with basic computer skills and data management is desirable.
• Ability to solve problems and maintain professionalism under stress.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist Head Coach with coaching duties and team management as directed by Head Coach/AD.
• Provide instruction to participants to improve skills in the sport.
• Enforce discipline and sportsmanlike behavior and oversee penalties.
• Assist scheduling interscholastic contests and coordinate travel logistics.
• Help inventory and manage athletic equipment and uniforms.
• Plan and schedule practices for the season and communicate with players.
