• Promote professional growth of the staff through coach meetings and clinic attendance.
• Maintain an accurate end of season inventory of all equipment and uniforms for the high school program.
• Assist the Athletic Director in scheduling scrimmages and other special sport events.
• Report to the Athletic Director end of the season statistical information.
• Secure equipment and school facilities after each use.
• Review periodically, the student athletic handbook with team members, with special attention being given to the academic eligibility and substance abuse policies.
• Supervise assistant coached, student coaches, and athletes at all times, including games (home and away), practices, and other team functions;
• Recruit and give direction to student and adult managers and statisticians;
• Promote the proper care of equipment, uniforms, and facilities at all times;
• Maintain good public relations with news media, boosters, parents, officials, volunteers, and fans;
• Perform additional tasks as directed.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Head Outdoor Track Coach to lead and develop our outdoor track program. The Head Coach will plan and conduct practices, coordinate meets, develop student-athletes’ skills and abilities, and promote teamwork, sportsmanship, and a positive team environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills while supporting the overall mission and values of the school athletic program.

• Instruct athletes in the fundamental skills, strategy, and physical training necessary for them to realize a degree of individual and team success.
