Job summary

SMX is seeking a Security Cooperation / FMS Subject Matter Expert to work on site at SOCPAC, Camp Smith, Hawaii, advising leadership on the full FMS lifecycle and related authorities. You will coordinate with DSCA, USSOCOM, and partner nations across the Indo-Pacific to develop and execute security cooperation programs.

The role requires a deep SAMM knowledge, 10+ years in security cooperation, active TS/SCI clearance, and willingness to travel up to 25% including OCONUS.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years in security cooperation, security assistance or FMS.
• Minimum 3 years supporting a Combatant Command or DSCA or related agency.
• Deep knowledge of SAMM and related U.S. laws.

Responsibilities

• Advise SOCPAC leadership on FMS lifecycle and authorities.
• Develop and track security cooperation programs for partner nations.
• Coordinate with DSCA, USSOCOM, and State Dept on requirements and case status.
• Prepare briefings and memos for SOCPAC leadership.
• Travel up to 25%, including OCONUS travel.
