Job summary

Amentum seeks a dynamic Facilities Specialist to support warehouse, distribution, logistics, and sustainment operations for SOCPAC at Camp H.M. Smith, Hawaii.

You will coordinate staging areas, storage space, work areas, and site-support actions in a complex Indo-Pacific mission environment. Ideal candidates will have 5+ years in facilities/logistics, strong communication skills, and an active Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Operations, or related field; HS diploma with 10+ years relevant experience may be substituted.
• 5+ years of facilities, logistics, distribution, supply, installation, or operations experience.
• Experience supporting warehouse, distribution center, military installation, logistics node, or similar operations.
• Experience coordinating facility requirements, infrastructure, maintenance, staging, storage, or site-support activities.
• Familiarity with USINDOPACOM and Indo-Pacific mission priorities.
• Excellent written, verbal, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to operate independently and coordinate across Government, contractor, and mission-partner organizations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Active Secret security clearance.
• CONUS and OCONUS travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Support facility readiness for logistics, sustainment, RSOI, and distribution operations.
• Maintain facility condition, capacity, and availability visibility.
• Align local infrastructure with RSOI and distribution requirements.
• Support JTDC operations through reception processing, staging, onward movement, and distribution activities.
• Coordinate multimodal movement requirements and maintain in-transit visibility.
• Support inventory control and accountability activities.
• Identify facility constraints, risks, and readiness gaps; recommend corrective actions.
• Support facility inspections, assessments, maintenance coordination, and corrective actions.
• Support exercise, contingency, surge, and operational requirements.
• Develop and maintain facility assessments, SOPs, trackers, status reports, and other operational products.
• Identify opportunities to improve facility utilization, logistics throughput, readiness, and resilience.
