Job summary

Amentum is seeking a dynamic Port / Airfield Operations Lead to support the safe and efficient movement of personnel, equipment, supplies, and cargo through port and airfield environments across the Indo-Pacific in support of SOCPAC at Camp H.M. Smith, Hawaii.

The position coordinates terminal activities, cargo movement, staging, loading, unloading, documentation, and onward movement while maintaining throughput, capacity, and constraints.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of port, airfield, transportation, cargo, warehouse, or logistics experience.
• Experience supporting cargo handling, staging, transportation, or terminal operations.
• Active Secret security clearance; US Citizenship required.
• CONUS/OCONUS travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support port and airfield logistics operations.
• Manage cargo receiving, staging, loading, unloading, and transfer activities.
• Coordinate with transportation, movement control, warehouse, supply, and distribution personnel.
• Monitor cargo flow, schedules, capacity, and operational status.
• Maintain accurate cargo and movement documentation.
• Support aircraft and vessel cargo operations as assigned.
• Identify operational constraints, delays, safety concerns, and throughput limitations.
• Coordinate onward movement of cargo from terminal locations.
• Support surge, contingency, exercise, and distributed logistics operations.
• Operate applicable material-handling or logistics equipment when qualified and authorized.
• Maintain compliance with safety and operational procedures.
