Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Schedule, facilitate, and ensure compliance of IEP meetings, triennial evaluations, and required assessments.
  • Serve as the liaison with school districts, parents/guardians, and advocates for all IEP-related matters.
  • Review and monitor IEP documentation for accuracy and regulatory compliance.
  • Oversee IEP implementation and ensure delivery of services and accommodations.
  • Coordinate state-mandated assessments and ensure appropriate accommodations.
  • Support and mentor first-year teachers, offering guidance and feedback.
  • Track IEP timelines and quarterly reporting obligations.
  • Maintain accurate IEP records and support staff training in documentation and goal tracking.
  • Collaborate with education and clinical teams to align programming with IEP goals.
  • Assist with audit preparation, student intakes, and data reporting.
  • Mentors and assist teachers working under a waiver as they complete licensure requirements.

Now Hiring: Individualized Education Services Administrator – Full-Time! At Latham Centers, a world-renowned leader in supporting individuals with complex special needs, including Prader-Willi syndrome, we’re looking for an experienced and mission-driven Coordinator of Individualized Education Services to join our dynamic Educational Department. In this pivotal leadership role, you will oversee all aspects of Individualized Education Program (IEP) compliance, guiding the development, implementation, and evaluation of services in accordance with DESE and IDEA regulations. You will act as the primary liaison with school districts and families, support the professional growth of new teachers, and ensure every student’s educational experience is aligned with their unique strengths and needs.

Requirements
  • Master’s degree in Special Education, Educational Leadership, or related field
  • Strong mentoring, communication, and organizational skills
  • Experience with IEP meetings, triennial evaluations, and state assessments (MCAS/MCAS-Alt)
  • Valid driver’s license
Preferred
  • MA DESE Administrator Licensure (e.g., Special Education Administrator, Principal/Assistant Principal, or equivalent)
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in special education with IEP compliance responsibilities
  • In-depth knowledge of Massachusetts special education regulations and IDEA
  • MA Special Education teaching license preferred
