Jobbeschreibung

The Alliance for Children’s Rights is seeking a mission-driven, proactive Individual Giving Manager to help shape the next phase of our individual giving program. This newly created role will identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward individuals who are ready to deepen their connection to the Alliance’s mission through annual, major, and planned giving.

Reporting to the Associate Director of Development, the Individual Giving Manager will partner with the Associate Director, Chief Development Officer, and CEO to develop and manage a portfolio of current and emerging annual, major, and planned giving donors.

You will cultivate and strengthen the philanthropic relationships that sustain and expand the Alliance’s work. By learning what motivates donors, communicating the impact of their philanthropy, and supporting thoughtful engagement strategies, you will inspire significant and lasting investments in children, young adults, and families.

COMPENSATION, BENEFITS, WELL-BEING, AND FLEXIBILITY

Salary range: $72,500 to $75,000 annually. Final starting salary is based on relevant experience and internal equity.

The Alliance is committed to supporting the physical, mental, and financial well-being of our employees. We offer comprehensive benefits, meaningful time away from work, and a flexible, family-friendly workplace that helps employees balance mission-driven work with responsibilities and interests outside of work.

  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage, with the Alliance paying 100% of the employee-only premium
    Life insurance
  • Flexible spending accounts for eligible health care and dependent care expenses
  • Generous vacation time and paid holidays
  • A 403(b) retirement savings plan with an employer contribution after one year of employment, independent of employee contributions
  • ClassPass membership, providing access to exercise classes and a broad range of health and wellness services, including massages and facials
  • A collaborative and family-friendly organizational culture that values employee well-being, connection, and sustainable work practices

The Alliance recognizes that social justice and direct-service work can be both meaningful and demanding. We place a strong emphasis on employee well-being and strive to provide benefits, resources, and workplace practices that support employees’ physical and mental health throughout their employment.

HOW AND WHERE YOU WILL WORK

This Los Angeles-based role offers regular flexibility in how and where work is performed. Employees may work from home or from the Alliance office on a regular basis, based on position responsibilities, donor engagement needs, events, meetings, and organizational priorities. In-person participation is expected when it best supports donors, colleagues, community partners, or Alliance activities. Candidates must reside in the greater Los Angeles area. The Alliance may adjust remote and in-office expectations as organizational needs evolve.
