GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Habitat for Humanity of Greater Los Angeles (Habitat LA) is seeking an Individual Giving Coordinator that supports the growth and effectiveness of the Individual Giving program by maintaining accurate donor data, providing responsive donor service, implementing stewardship activities, and assisting with fundraising campaigns and events. As an entry-level fundraiser, the Coordinator engages donors and prospects, supports donor cultivation, and helps ensure consistent and meaningful donor experiences.
SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Maintain accurate and complete donor records by submitting detailed gift data, recording donor interactions/actions, updating constituent information, and importing data into Raiser’s Edge. Conduct donor and prospect research, prepare donor profiles and meeting materials, run reports, and assist with tracking fundraising, stewardship, and communication activity for the team. Review information for accuracy and protect the confidentiality of donor and organizational data.
- Support implementation of the Individual Giving stewardship plan through timely and personalized communication with donors. Prepare and send donor acknowledgments, stewardship materials, and donor correspondence; respond to general questions; assist with donor outreach and follow-up; and help ensure donors receive consistent, accurate, and professional service throughout their relationship with the organization.
- Provide administrative and fundraising support that helps the Individual Giving team achieve its revenue and engagement goals. Assist with donor renewals and entry-level solicitations, update recurring gift and payment information, maintain communication preferences and suppression lists, prepare donor visit packets, coordinate mailings, and support campaign and portfolio activities. Track assignments, deadlines, and follow-up needs to promote timely execution and accountability.
- Provide administrative and execution support for signature events, workplace giving activities, cause marketing initiatives, friend-raisers, build experiences, auctions, and other donor cultivation and stewardship events. Coordinate event communications, registration, guest lists, materials, logistics, data entry, and donor follow-up; support auction procurement, item tracking, packaging, displays, and fulfillment; and assist with on-site setup, execution, and post-event activities. Engage donors, volunteers, sponsors, and prospects throughout the event experience and represent the organization professionally.
SUMMARY OF JOB QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be able to successfully pass a drug test, background check, and driving record check
- Must have access to reliable transportation to perform job duties, a valid CA Driver’s License, and meet the state-required amount of personal automobile liability insuranc
- Must have a reliable internet connection
- Availability to work occasional evenings or weekends for fundraising events and donor activities.
- At least one year of experience in fundraising, donor relations, customer service, event support, data entry, or administrative support preferred.
- Experience working with donor databases or CRM systems, such as Raiser’s Edge NXT, Salesforce, or a comparable platform, preferred.
- Ability to maintain complete donor records, document interactions, update constituent information, and process gift related data.
- Strong customer service and relationship building skills with the ability to communicate professionally with donors, volunteers, sponsors, and prospective supporters.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare donor acknowledgments, correspondence, and stewardship materials.
- Ability to conduct donor and prospect research and prepare clear donor profiles, reports, and meeting materials.
- Ability to handle confidential donor, financial, and organizational information with discretion.
- Experience assisting with events, including registration, guest lists, communications, materials, logistics, setup, and post event follow-up.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to review reports and records for accuracy and identify missing or inconsistent information.
- Professional, dependable, proactive, and responsive approach to donor service.

COMPENSATION
Pay Range: $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
Salary offers are based on several factors, including job-related knowledge, experience, and qualifications. Offers are between the entry to mid-level range.
