ABC Supply in Beloit, WI is seeking an entry-level Indirect Tax Assistant to support our tax team with credits, exemptions, and invoice processing. You will help maintain exemption certificates, review short-paid invoices, and code charges in our ERP system under supervision.

The role emphasizes accuracy, punctuality, and collaboration with the tax team to support audits and license submissions. We offer on-the-job training, a robust benefits package, and real growth opportunities within ABC

Responsabilidades

• Review customer accounts and process tax credits for accounts or invoices eligible for exemption.
• Review customer invoices that are short paid and code invoices in system after reviewing exemption certificates repository.
• Gather and retain audit data and documentation; submit business licenses.
• Assist with seasonal and project assignments and miscellaneous department tasks.

Objective:

To provide assistance related to Indirect Tax Department responsibilities.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Review customer accounts and process tax credits for accounts or specific invoices for which a tax exemption is permissible
• Review customer invoices which have been short paid, which includes reviewing exemption certificates repository to determine whether or not an exemption is already on file; code invoices in system once review is finalized

Main Areas of Responsibility:

• Gather and retain audit data and documentation
• Submit business licenses
• Work on seasonal and project assignments
• Help with miscellaneous department tasks and responsibilities

Requirements:

• High School or equivalent; will provide on-the-job training

Specialized Knowledge and Skills:

Ability to operate personal computer; experience with Microsoft Office products, ERP and billing software experience a plus
