Job summary

MSA Safety Inc. is seeking an organized, detail-oriented purchaser to support indirect procurement across a global scope. The role covers requisition-to-purchase order conversion, supplier communications, and adherence to P2P standards.

Level I–III activities include cost control, data analysis, and system optimization using ERP tools and procurement platforms such as SAP, Coupa, Ariba, and BI reporting to drive efficiency and governance.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain / Logistics / Business or Related Field (Level I)
Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain / Logistics / Business or Related Field (Level II)
Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain / Logistics / Business or Related Field (Level III)
Experience: Level I – Entry level, Level II – 2+ years indirect purchasing, Level III – 4+ years indirect purchasing

Responsibilities

Create/convert purchase requisitions into purchase orders with accuracy and compliance.
Support stakeholders and suppliers by analyzing quotes and resolving inquiries.
Maintain procurement data in ERP and P2P systems.
Lead Level II/III activities: negotiations, cost control, and process improvements.
