Job summary

SI Group is seeking a Buyer to lead procurement for assigned categories and services, collaborating with category managers, site operations, planning, finance, and suppliers to meet business needs while following policies and processes.

In this role, you will execute indirect procurement with accuracy, maintain sourcing strategies, manage POs and supplier metrics, and support ERP and MRP workflows. A minimum of 3 years’ experience and proficiency in SAP are required.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree or higher in business, science, or technical fields.
• Minimum 3 years of indirect procurement experience.
• Strong Excel, PowerPoint skills and SAP proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Execute indirect procurement with high quality, including import management.
• Maintain sourcing strategies from Category Managers.
• Manage requisitions, purchase orders, and supplier performance metrics.
• Track shipments, expedite, and resolve demurrage.
• Ensure ERP data standards and SAP-based processes.
