Job summary

UniGroup, Inc. is seeking a Supervisor of Indirect Procurement to lead sourcing, purchasing, and supplier management across the organization. You will oversee a procurement team, partner with stakeholders, and drive cost-effective supplier relationships to support company objectives.

The role emphasizes strategic sourcing, policy development, and continuous improvement in procurement operations, with an on-site work arrangement in Des Peres, MO.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Five or more years of indirect procurement experience.
• Proven success negotiating supplier agreements and managing contracts.
• Two or more years of leadership or supervisory experience.
• Experience with Contract Lifecycle Management systems, preferably Icertis.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day indirect procurement operations and ensure compliant purchasing.
• Coach and develop the procurement team and manage performance.
• Manage procurement requests via intake systems and workflow tools.
• Negotiate supplier agreements to optimize cost, quality, service, and risk.
• Partner with stakeholders to deliver procurement solutions aligned with goals.
• Oversee supplier selection, performance management, and improvement initiatives.
• Maintain contract management processes, renewals, and internal controls.
• Develop and improve procurement policies, governance standards, and procedures.
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes and leverage technology.
