Job summary

Connex Credit Union, Inc. in North Haven, CT, is seeking a Credit Analyst to assess indirect loan opportunities and decisions. You will perform comprehensive credit analyses on members and dealers, ensuring compliance with standards while protecting Connex from risk.

You will also help develop dealer training, maintain accurate loan data, and collaborate with senior staff. After-hours and occasional weekend hours may be required to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• Four or more years’ consumer or indirect lending experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field preferred or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency with Dealertrack, Route One, and CU Direct loan systems.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and integrity.
• After hours required; some weekend and evening hours may be required.

Responsibilities

• Process, evaluate, and approve/deny indirect loans within authority.
• Conduct complete credit analyses on existing and prospective customers.
• Review customer accounts and portfolios for credit quality issues.
• Develop dealership training programs to support indirect lending.
• Assist Senior Credit Analyst and VP with training manuals and policies.
