Superior Choice Credit Union is seeking a Credit Analyst to evaluate commercial credit requests, assess risk, and provide clear analysis for lending decisions. The role emphasizes accuracy, data interpretation, and collaboration with lenders and members to support responsible lending.

The Credit Analyst will analyze statements and reports, prepare presentations, and assist with ongoing portfolio management, while maintaining confidentiality and professional service.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in credit analysis, commercial lending, or a related financial role.
• Commercial credit, commercial lending, business banking, or related commercial experience required.
• Must live in the Twin Cities, Twin Ports, or surrounding areas.
• Ability to analyze financial data and translate into actionable recommendations.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and accurate.

Responsabilités

• Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and other data to assess business credit strength.
• Perform initial credit analysis to ensure alignment with policies and guidelines.
• Prepare clear, concise credit presentations for lending decisions.
• Monitor collateral, valuations, and inspections for compliance with agreements.
• Support portfolio management and problem loan administration.
• Prepare and maintain reports on members' credit obligations and financial performance.
• Collect and organize financial data directly from members when needed.
• Update credit and loan systems with accurate data entry and reporting.
• Contribute to special projects and team initiatives.
• Represent SCCU's mission of improving members' financial well-being.
