Job summary

Washington University is seeking an Indirect Cost Analyst in the Controller's Office to oversee financial monitoring, compliance, and reporting for recharge centers and SSF across the university.

The role focuses on UG compliance, internal controls, and training initiatives. A bachelor’s degree with accounting/finance experience is required; MBA and CPA credentials are preferred. Strong communication and Excel skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• Two or more years of experience in public accounting or equivalent in financial reporting.
• Demonstrated knowledge of GAAP and Uniform Guidance (UG).
• Experience in a university or non-profit environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee university-wide recharge centers and SSF financial monitoring and reporting.
• Ensure UG compliance and adherence to university policies.
• Coordinate with auditors for annual Uniform Guidance audits.
• Develop and deliver training programs for department administrators on recharge center policies and rates.
